Presentation Format Options

  • Conference Sessions (45 minutes)
  • Panel Discussions (45 minutes)
  • Product/Service Presentations (30 minutes)
  • Tutorials – Half-Day (3 hours)
  • Tutorials – Full-Day (6 hours)
  • Seminars (2 days/12 hours)

Half- and Full-Day Sessions (3 and 6 hours)

In-depth educational presentations providing detailed technical information, skills, or methodologies. Tutorial and Seminar speakers receive an honorarium for their participation in the amount of $500 for their half-day session, plus an additional $250 bonus to speakers who provide their final presentation slides by the November 1, 2021 deadline.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All content and format suggestions are reviewed by the Program Advisory Committee. Final presentations must be approved to participate. For questions about speaking, please contact Tony Shaw, Conference Chair at tony@dataversity.net.

Multiple speakers and multiple presentation options may be proposed. One speaker per accepted conference session (or two speakers for Keynotes, Seminar, and Tutorial sessions) will receive complimentary attendance to all conference and tutorial sessions from Monday morning through Thursday afternoon (Contact registration@dataversity.net to add the two-day seminars for an additional cost). Additional speakers originally nominated in the speaking proposal must register and pay for their Monday morning through Thursday afternoon conference attendance at a significantly discounted rate of 80% off.
